The practice
Cost auditors who stay close to the drawings
ArchITechNet grew from site-side cost arguments that dragged on because nobody had reconciled the bill with the issued design. We exist to do that reconciliation carefully and early.
Origin
The practice is based in Xitun, Taichung — close to the development corridors where many of our clients’ mid-rise and mixed-use projects take shape. We work in English for international owners and joint ventures, and coordinate with local design and QS teams who hold the Chinese-language contract files.
How we work
We read drawings before we argue rates. We separate arithmetic errors from entitlement disputes. We write findings that a non-specialist owner can follow without stripping out the technical detail the architect and QS need.
Independence
We do not act as the contractor’s commercial advocate on the same project we audit for the owner. Conflict checks happen before engagement letters are signed.
