Progress Payment Verification

A recurring check of monthly progress claims: work claimed versus work visible, materials on site, and retention arithmetic — issued in time for your payment certification cycle.

Who it is for

Lenders, owners, and development managers who certify monthly payments and want an independent verification note alongside the contractor’s claim.

What is included

  • Review of the period claim against the previous certificate
  • Spot verification of high-value work items
  • Check of materials-on-site schedules and retention calculations
  • Short verification memo timed to your certification deadline

What is excluded

  • Full site quantity surveying every month unless separately agreed
  • Direct payment to contractors

How the work runs

  1. Claim receipt

The contractor’s claim package arrives on the agreed cut-off date.

  2. Verification pass

We test the math, sample the site evidence, and list queries within your certification window.

  3. Memo issue

A verification memo goes to the certifier with clear approve / hold / query flags.

Timing matters

Payment verification only helps if it lands before you certify. We agree the claim cut-off and memo deadline at the start so the audit does not become another late attachment.
